Samuel McElwee

Samuel McElwee has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Samuel started their career at Starr Hill Brewery in 2012, where they worked as a Brewer with responsibilities including yeast and lab management, software development, and other brewing operations. Samuel then joined Brown University in 2014 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting professors in teaching and grading assignments. In 2016, Samuel moved to Caboose Brewing Company and took on roles as a Senior Efficiency Engineer and later as the Head of Brewing Operations. Samuel contributed to improving efficiency and oversaw brewing operations. Samuel's most recent position is with GoTab, where they initially worked as a Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021, and then transitioned to the role of Principal Software Engineer in June 2021.

Samuel McElwee pursued their education in a diligent and committed manner. Samuel first attended the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, Samuel enrolled at Brown University to further enhance their knowledge and skills, eventually earning a Master of Science degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.
