Dr. Fabian Hoffmann

Dr. Fabian Hoffmann has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dr. Fabian is currently the Head of Business Unit Coating at the GOTEC Group since October 2021. Previously, they worked at Oerlikon Balzers from 2014 to 2021, where they held multiple positions including Global Head of Automotive Nitriding, Geschäftsführer Oerlikon Metaplas GmbH, Head of Global Sales Automotive Nitriding, and Technischer Vertrieb. Prior to that, they worked at Sulzer as a Technischer Vertrieb from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Hoffmann began their career at Technische Universität Dortmund, where they held positions such as Stellvertretender Oberingenieur, Gruppenleiter PVD-Prozesse, and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter from 2005 to 2013. Dr. Fabian also worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Angesteller at Herzogenrather Dienstleistungszentrum HDZ from 2004 to 2005.

Dr. Fabian Hoffmann holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Oberflächentechnik from TU Dortmund University. Dr. Fabian also obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Chemieingenieurswesen from the same university.
