Michael Bergen

Michael Bergen is the Vice President of Strategic Programs & Partnerships at goTenna. Prior to joining goTenna, Michael served as the Vice President Head of Public Sector at SafeGraph from October 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they led the public sector business for SafeGraph's best in class Points of Interest and location data.

Before joining SafeGraph, Michael was the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head of Government Affairs at Orbital Insight from May 2017 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for identifying leading imagery and geospatial data companies to work with and also led US Government Affairs targeting key stakeholders in Defense, Intel, and A.I.

From September 2014 to May 2017, Michael worked as a Senior Associate at Avascent where they focused on helping companies make better business decisions by leveraging market data and industry expertise. Michael worked in emerging areas of technology including aerospace and defense, telecom, and health care.

Prior to Avascent, Michael was Co-owner of Shoot Indoors Franchising and a Senior Associate at Toffler Associates from February 2012 to September 2014. Michael began their career as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting from June 2008 to March 2012.

Michael holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.

Michael Bergen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business/Managerial Economics from Lehigh University. Michael also has certification in Enterprise Risk Management from Stanford University.
