Douglas Rogers is an accomplished writer and educator with extensive experience in travel and feature writing. Currently serving as a ghostwriter at Gotham Ghostwriters since January 2015, Rogers also maintains a position as an author at Penguin Random House, celebrated for a well-received account of life under the Mugabe regime, which won the British Guild of Travel Writers Book of the Year in 2010. With a background as a travel writer for prestigious publications including the UK Daily Telegraph and National Geographic Traveler, Rogers has received numerous accolades, including multiple Visit USA Media Awards and the NATJA Silver Award. Additionally, Rogers has served as a public speaker and lecturer at various institutions, focusing on writing and travel topics, and previously taught travel writing at Gotham Writers' Workshop. An alumnus of Rhodes University, Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Psychology.
