Charu Sharma

Charu Sharma is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Director of Environmental and Natural Resources at Gotham Greens since January 2021, where Charu leads sustainability initiatives related to energy, water, waste, and natural resources. Previously, Charu was the Chief of Staff at Gotham Greens, focusing on carbon emissions measurement and energy optimization. Additional experience includes a CELI Fellowship, a Sustainability Consultant role at DNV, and positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Low Impact Development Consulting, and The Energy and Resources Institute, where Charu contributed to sustainable building design and policy development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from MIT and a Post Graduate Diploma from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by a Bachelor of Architecture from the National Institute of Technology Raipur.
