Gothenburg Health
Roxanne Converse-Whiting has worked in various roles throughout their career. Starting in 2017, they served as the Executive Director at Gothenburg Community Playhouse, DBA Sun Theatre until December 2020. In 2020, they joined Sabin Motor Company as the Chief Operations Officer, a position they held until December 2021. Roxanne then joined Dot's Micro-Publishing House as a Micro-Publisher until February 2022. Additionally, they worked at Gothenburg Health, where they initially served as the Community Education Coordinator from December 2021 to February 2022, and later became the Director of Community Education in February 2022.
Roxanne Converse-Whiting earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
Gothenburg Health
Gothenburg Health is a Critical Access Facility serving the needs of Gothenburg and the surrounding area. The existing building was built in 1969 with a 3.5 million dollar addition and renovation project completed in 2004. In 2014 Gothenburg Health broke ground on a 29.5 million dollar renovation and expansion that started with a state-of-the-art surgical expansion. The new 3-phase project was completed in 2018 and includes a brand-new patient wing, prominent main entry, clinical expansion and advanced imaging suite. Gothenburg Health is a non-profit healthcare facility governed by a publicly elected board of directors.
