Hongwei Yu

Hongwei (Jacky) Yu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and program management within the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Head of Operations at Gotion Inc. since January 2021, Hongwei also holds a management board position at Gotion Americas. Prior to this role, Hongwei spent nearly a decade at HELLA in various leadership positions, including Senior Manager of Program Management, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and budget management. Earlier experience at Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. involved project management and product engineering, focusing on new product introduction and customer relations. Hongwei holds a Master’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Macromolecular Material Science and Engineering from Northeast Forestry University.
