Yun Xue

Yun Xue, Ph.D., is a Battery Software Engineer and Energy Storage Application Engineer at Gotion Inc. since November 2022, possessing a strong background in battery technology and electrical engineering. Previously, Yun Xue served as a Battery Algorithm Engineer at ReJoule, focusing on modeling second-life batteries using Simulink and analyzing battery aging data. During tenure at the University of California, Riverside, as a Graduate Student Researcher, Yun Xue predicted renewable energy generation and EV charging profiles through machine learning in community-funded projects. Yun Xue also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant, conducting lab sessions and managing large student cohorts, and worked as a Laboratory Assistant on electricity load data analysis and microgrid development. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor's degree from Hohai University.
