Currently serving as a Partner at Gotrah Ventures since June 2022, Fawaz is dedicated to empowering human-centric innovations. At Umm Al-Qura University, Fawaz holds multiple positions including Associate Professor, Dean of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Director of the Intellectual Property Management Office. Additionally, Fawaz is actively involved in the startup ecosystem as an Angel Investor on AngelList and as a Co-Founder of TIES, while also contributing to various other initiatives. Fawaz's academic background includes a PhD from Cardiff University and executive training from prestigious institutions such as MIT and Stanford, complemented by numerous certifications in entrepreneurship and innovation.
