Giel Snauwaert

Giel Snauwaert has a diverse work experience in supply chain operations and food strategy. Giel currently holds the position of Head of Supply Chain Operations at Gousto since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Food Strategy & Commercial at Gousto from January to December 2021. Before joining Gousto, Giel worked as a Senior Manager in Food Strategy & Commercial at Gousto from March to December 2020. Giel also served as a Category Lead (Grocery) at Gousto from April 2019 to March 2020.

Before their roles at Gousto, Giel worked at Efficio, where they gained extensive experience in procurement transformation projects. Giel worked as a Manager, responsible for delivering complex workstreams, including strategic sourcing and target operating model design, from January to April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Efficio in 2018 and 2017, respectively. Giel started their career as a Junior Consultant at Efficio from October 2015 to December 2016.

Giel's early work experience includes their role as a Business Analyst in Supply Chain & Operations at Accenture from October 2013 to September 2015.

Giel Snauwaert holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Giel went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at KU Leuven from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they participated in the Erasmus Fall Semester of 2012 at emlyon business school, focusing on Business/Commerce.
