Gus Rohnow has over 20 years of experience in the field of cyber security and information assurance. Gus began their career in 1999 as an IA Engineer, IA Boundary Hardware Administrator and IT Support at Raytheon Technical Services Company. In 2002, they moved to RAYTHEON TECHNICAL SERVICES CO LLC as an Information Assurance Boundary Hardware Administrator/Site Lead. In 2005, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Vulnerability Assessment & Compliance Lead, where they managed IT Compliance & Vulnerability Assessment teams. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Information Assurance Engineer/Manager at Gov Solutions Group. Since 2018, they have been employed at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Cyber Security Engineer/Supervisor.
Gus Rohnow's education history includes a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University between 2015 and 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Chapman University between 1996 and 2000. Rohnow also holds several certifications, including Fully Qualified Navy Validator from the Navy Certification Authority (2013), Windows 7, Configuring (7-68) from Microsoft (2012), Security+ from Comptia (2009), CISSP from ISC2 (2011), Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council (2016), and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator from EC-Council (2016).
