Harri Suomalainen

Harri Suomalainen is an experienced cloud architect currently serving at the Government ICT Centre Valtori since April 2015, specializing in AWS architecture within the Valtori Cloud Center of Excellence. Previous roles include Solutions Architect, where AWS architecting and cloud product development were key responsibilities, and Networking Architect, overseeing the main architecture for the next generation of the Finnish government's shared network. Additionally, Harri held the position of Group Manager at Maanmittauslaitos for a brief period in early 2015 and served as the Head of the Unit at Maa- ja metsätalousministeriön tietopalvelukeskus from 1999 to 2014, focusing on IT management. Earlier experience also includes work as a Network Administrator and Designer. Harri Suomalainen holds a DI degree in Chemistry from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
