Sami Rontti

Sami Rontti is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across public sector organizations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Government ICT Centre Valtori since August 2019, Sami has previously held positions such as Digital Communications Specialist at Opetushallitus in 2019 and Communications Specialist at the City of Espoo from 2013 to 2019. Earlier roles include Communications Officer in social and health services and Information Officer at the Emergency Response Centre Administration, where strategic planning and content production were key responsibilities. Sami's career began in communications and journalism, with positions at the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, and the Employment and Economic Development Centre for Northern Ostrobothnia. Sami holds a Master of Arts degree in General History from the University of Oulu.
