Garth Thomson

Garth Thomson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and regulatory reform within the BC Public Service, holding roles such as Director, Policy and Regulatory Reform, Project Manager, Policy, and Senior Policy Analyst in Mines and Mineral Resources since August 2017. Previously, Garth served as a Research Coordinator at the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute from September 2016 to August 2017, and held positions at Lion One Metals Limited as Field Manager, and First Point Minerals Corp as Field Assistant. Garth Thomson holds a Certificate in Project Management from the UBC Sauder School of Business, a Master of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
