Ian Rongve

Ian Rongve has extensive experience in the public sector, currently serving as Assistant Deputy Minister across various ministries within the BC Public Service since 2001, including Health, Education, and Advanced Education, along with previous roles as Executive Director and Economist. Prior to this, Ian held an academic position as Assistant Professor at the University of Regina from July 1993 to February 2001. Ian's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Economics/Finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
