Robert Rivers, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy development, research, and strategic consulting. Currently serving as Manager of Policy and Research at BC Public Service, Robert focuses on alleviating homelessness in British Columbia. As Founder and Principal Consultant at Ramsgate Policy Group, Robert leads initiatives in government relations and stakeholder engagement. Additional roles include Market Development in ESG and Sustainable Practices at FEED Clean Tech, and Research Director at Sociologica Research, overseeing numerous significant research projects. Previous experience includes directing parliamentary affairs for the Senate of Canada, a temporary assignment as Director of Research at the Office of the Seniors Advocate, and various analytical positions in government and academia. Robert holds a PhD in Population Health from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Master's degree in Applied Anthropology and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Toronto.
