Sam Hudson

Sam Hudson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director in the Ministry of Health's Population and Public Health Division at BC Public Service, focusing on tobacco, vaping, and personal services protection since January 2020. Prior roles include working as a Senior Policy Analyst in the same division, as well as at the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions. Earlier experience encompasses positions at Infrastructure Canada as a Program Analyst, research and project assistance at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, and roles in various capacities at Environment and Climate Change Canada, Island Health, and ARC Programs Ltd. Sam Hudson holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
