Rao Rafay Afzal

Rao Rafay Afzal serves as Assistant Commissioner in various capacities within the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan since July 2022, including roles in Skardu, Juglote, Gojal, and as an assistant to the Commissioner of both Gilgit and Baltistan Divisions. Prior to this, Rao held the position of Assistant Commissioner Under Training in Sukkur with the Government of Sindh from November 2021 to April 2022 and completed a Communications Internship at the Consortium for Development Policy Research in March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the Lahore School of Economics and training at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore. Early education included GCSE A-levels and O-Levels from Aitchison College.
