Dermot Sellars

Dermot Sellars currently serves as Head of Communications at the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Dermot worked at the Office of Government Procurement from November 2017 to August 2022, initially as Communications Manager before advancing to Head of Corporate Office. Prior to that, Dermot was Policy & Communications Manager at Co-operative Housing Ireland, and held the role of Policy & Communications Officer at NABCO. Dermot's early career included serving as Strategy Coordinator at the Homes and Communities Agency and as a Graduate Trainee at English Partnerships. Dermot holds a Master's degree in Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin and an LLB in Law from Trinity College Dublin, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economic Policy at Trinity College Dublin.
