Gary Rutherford

Gary Rutherford is an experienced public servant currently working at the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform since July 2023, following a similar role at the Department of Social Protection from September 2019 to July 2023. Prior to these positions, Gary served as a Rehabilitation Assistant at Acquired Brain Injury Ireland from February 2016 to August 2018, where responsibilities included developing Individual Rehabilitation Plans and supporting clients in a community-based neuro-rehabilitation service. Experience also includes leading projects as a Development Worker from April 2014 to February 2017, enhanced by completing the Jobnet Programme and the Social Enterprise Start Up Programme at DCU Ryan Academy. Educational qualifications include a Level 9 Graduate Certificate in Innovation in Social Enterprise and a BA (Hons) in Social Care from Technological University Dublin.
