Mary Ellen O'Keeffe is an experienced economist and policy analyst currently working with the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform since May 2021. Prior to this role, Mary Ellen contributed as a Student Associate at UL Student Life and served as Chairperson of the UL Student Life Student Council. Additionally, Mary Ellen represented student interests as a Student Councillor for the UL Student’s Union and gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant at Youthreach. Mary Ellen holds a Master of Arts in Applied Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology, both from the University of Limerick.
