Nomin Chinbat

Nomin Chinbat currently serves as the Minister of Culture for the Government of Mongolia and has been in this role since February 2021. Chinbat is also a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum since March 2016. Previously, Chinbat was the Chairwoman of the Mongolian Media Council from January 2015 to February 2021, focusing on press freedom and responsible journalism. As the CEO and Founder of Mongol TV from April 2011 to February 2021, Chinbat oversaw the establishment and operation of the channel. Additionally, Chinbat owned Terelj Hotel Ulaanbaatar, managing all aspects of the hotel from its inception in April 2007 until February 2021. Other notable positions include Board Member at LendMN and Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Tenger Insurance. Chinbat's educational background includes an OPM from Harvard Business School Executive Education and a BA in Economics from the University of East Anglia.
