Sylvain Gagné

Sylvain Gagné possesses extensive experience in media operations and public affairs, currently serving as Deputy Director of Media Operations for the G7 at Global Affairs Canada since July 2024. Prior roles include Coordinator of Public Affairs at the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec and Coordinator for media logistics during the Papal visit to Canada. Previous experience also encompasses managing media operations for the G7 2018 Summit, communication advisory roles with multiple organizations including the Ville de Québec and Québec City Tourism, and various media operations positions for high-profile events such as the Royal Tour of Canada and G8-G20. Sylvain Gagné holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Université Laval, earned between 1992 and 1995.
