Manoj Pant

Manoj Pant currently serves as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department for the Government of West Bengal and has held various key positions in the government, including Principal Secretary and Land Reforms Commissioner. With extensive experience in public administration and finance, Manoj Pant has formulated policies for sustainable land management, supported land redistribution efforts, and managed development programs focused on poverty alleviation and community welfare. Previous roles include Senior Advisor at The World Bank, Private Secretary to the Finance Minister of India, and managing positions in the Government of West Bengal's Small Industries Development Corporation and as District Magistrate. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Calcutta University and Master's degrees in Public Administration from Syracuse University and Applied Geology from IIT Roorkee.
