Andre Green

Andre Green has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Andre currently holds the position of Vice President Special Operations Support Solutions (SOSS) at GovCIO since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as Vice President and Director at Salient CRGT, working on various IT contracts for USSOCOM and managing procurement processes. Andre also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Salient CRGT, overseeing a $29 million annual communication contract for the Department of Defense. Before joining Salient CRGT, Andre worked at Drs Technology as a Video Teleconferencing Technician and Audio Video Project Manager, where they managed classified networks and facilitated high-definition video teleconferences for the Department of Defense. Andre'scareer started in the US Navy, where they served for over 22 years, rising to the rank of Submarine Command Master Chief and fulfilling leadership roles in the submarine community. Andre was also involved in repairing, maintaining, and upgrading mission-critical equipment related to navigation, control, tracking, LAN, and communication.

Andre Green has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended Northern Virginia Community College and completed an Associates degree in Information Systems Technology specializing in Networking. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Excelsior University. In 2013, Andre enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus and successfully completed a Masters degree in Information Technology Project Management in 2016. Later that same year, they also obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
