Boards for Education (formerly Governors for Schools) exists to improve educational outcomes for children, young people, and adult learners by strengthening governance. With more than 25 years’ experience and a national network of partners, we connect schools, academy trusts, colleges, and education charities across England and Wales with skilled, independent volunteers. Bringing fresh perspectives, professional expertise, and stronger links to the wider community, these volunteers help boards make effective decisions and create lasting impact, helping every learner to thrive and access the education they deserve.
