Dan McConnell

Dan McConnell is currently the Vice President and DOD Fourth Estate Account Lead at Govini, where they help transform Defense Acquisition into a software-driven strategic advantage for the United States. Prior to this role, Dan served as Chief Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2017 to 2025 and was a Psychological Operations Officer with the United States Army Special Operations Command from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Dan has held significant roles in organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and The Cohen Group, and actively contributes to the VR/AR Association as Co-Chair of the Industrial Metaverse & Digital Twin Committee and President of the DC Chapter. Dan is also pursuing advanced degrees in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, International and Global Affairs from Harvard University, and Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
