Keeley Duffey has a diverse work experience, having held multiple positions since 2009. In 2009, they were a Floor Manager at Timberline Cafe. In 2012, they were a Resettlement Services Intern at the International Rescue Committee. In 2013, they were a Sales Assistant at Send It Home. In 2014, they were an English Teacher at Chiangsaen Academy. In 2016, they were a Local Food Promotion Intern at Athens Land Trust, Inc. and a Volunteer Coordinator at The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. From 2017-2018, they were a Full Stack Developer at Pluto by Craevotieous Inc., where they planned and developed new features and upgraded legacy code using the latest JavaScript/ES6, stored, updated and aggregated data using Mongoose and MongoDB, and collaborated with team using Git/Github for version control. Since 2020, they have been the Head of Product & Tech Advocacy at Govlaunch. Additionally, they were a New York Tech Meetup Presenter in June 2017 and a Civic Hall Entrepreneur-in-Residence from August 2017 to July 2018.

Keeley Duffey obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and Affairs from The University of Georgia between 2009 and 2013. In 2011, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at Universidad de Granada, focusing on Political Science and Spanish. In February 2014, they obtained a TESOL certification from LanguageCorps. In April 2016, they obtained an Intro to Javascript certification from Four Athens.
