Malte Bedürftig

Malte Bedürftig has a diverse work experience history in various roles. Malte is currently working as an Advisor at Imagine Foundation e.V since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of Join Impact, an umbrella holding consisting of multiple impact ventures, from January 2021. Malte Bedürftig also founded GoVolunteer in 2015, GoNature in 2020, Hautfarben-Buntstifte in 2017, and MACHWERK in 2019. Malte served as the Co-Founder & CEO of Nature Meet from April 2021 to December 2022. Additionally, they held the position of Co-Geschäftsführer at HiMate from April 2018 to November 2022. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Malte Bedürftig worked as a Senior Expert & Freelance Consultant at Value for Good GmbH from April 2018 to May 2019. Malte also has experience working at McKinsey & Company, where they held the positions of Senior Consultant from October 2012 to January 2017 and Senior Research Analyst from May 2009 to October 2012.

Malte Bedürftig completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Law from Universität Erfurt from 2003 to 2007. Malte further pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they spent an exchange year studying Economics at the University of Essex from 2005 to 2006.
