Tonio Desorrento

Tonio DeSorrento serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GovPort since December 2022, where the company specializes in subcontractor management. DeSorrento is also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and held the role of Partner (Entrepreneur in Residence) at On Deck from January to May 2022. Previously, DeSorrento was the Chief Executive Officer of Vemo Education from 2015 to 2021 and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center from 2014 to 2019. Additional experience includes positions as Deputy General Counsel at SoFi and Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Early in their career, DeSorrento served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005. Educational credentials include a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a brief exchange at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
