Guillaume JANSSENS

Guillaume JANSSENS has a wealth of experience in the land management and rural project management sectors. Guillaume began their career in 2006 as a Project Coordinator for IIMA Consultora. In 2010, they became the Projects Officer for the European Landowners' Organization and the Project Coordinator for Friends of the Countryside SA. In 2012, they took on the role of Managing Director for Valle Escondido SRL and became a Freelance Expert/Advisor for IPIC International Promotion Investment Consulting. In 2015, they co-founded TerrEye. In 2020, they became the Project Development Manager for GoVR.eu and the Land Steward for Agriland SA. Most recently, they have been the Managing Director for CapLand, where they are driving progress in farming and empowering land management internationally.

Guillaume JANSSENS has a diverse educational background. Guillaume completed a BSc (Hons) in International Business Management from the Royal Agricultural University in 2002-2005. Following this, they completed a SPE - Gestion y Conservacion de Espacios Naturales - Environmental Management Masters from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2005-2006. In 2014, they completed the Solvay Entrepreneur Programme Brainstorm & Boost from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. In 2015, they completed a formation in Agroforesterie from the AWAF asbl / Association pour l'agroforesterie en Wallonie et à Bruxelles. Guillaume also completed a Certificat d'université en géomatique appliquée from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2015-2016.
