Melissa Arnesen

Melissa Arnesen has a diverse work experience. Melissa began their career in 2005 as a Camp Counselor at the YMCA, followed by a Vet Assistant role at Animal Acupuncture and Therapy. In 2006, they worked as a Server at Islands Restaurants. In 2011, they interned at EMPOWER San Diego. In 2012, they were an Executive Assistant at Reuter and a Server & Beer Ambassador at Karl Strauss Brewing Company. From 2013 to present, they have worked at GovX in various roles, including Director of Partner Success, Director of Ecommerce Operations and Logistics, Senior Ecommerce Operations & Logistics Manager, Ecommerce Operations Manager, and Site Merchandising Manager. In their most recent role, they have cultivated project management skills, maintained timelines, and developed business goals for four direct-report team members. Melissa has also organized and added over 2,000 new SKUs and product information weekly, enhanced website functions, and maintained and grown relationships with forty suppliers, representing over $1 million in product revenue.

Melissa Arnesen received their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from San Diego State University in 2012, having studied Business Administration and Management, General from 2007-2012.
