Lara Donovan

Lara Donovan began their career in 2005 as the Visual Arts Gallery Manager at the University of Illinois at Springfield. In 2007, they moved on to become an Event Coordinator at the Prairie Capital Convention Center, where they acted as a liaison between clients, public and administration prior to and during events to ensure that facilities, equipment, physical setup and personnel provided met the requirements of the event and contractual agreements. Lara also maintained social media networking websites for promoting events and helped the PCCC facebook fan base reach 4,000+ followers. In 2011, Lara joined GoWeb1 as a Project Manager, providing custom website development for small to mid-sized businesses.

Lara Donovan holds a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Illinois Springfield, which they obtained in 2007. Lara also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a Minor in Visual Arts from the same university, which they obtained in 2005.
