Mark Roberts III began their career in 2000 as a Consultant for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. In 2003, they became Executive VP for Standard Investment Co., a real estate and technology venture. In 2004, they joined the Board of Leadership Springfield, a nine-month program in cooperation with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. In 2005, they founded GoWeb1, a leading professional website development company and SaaS provider. In 2007, they became a Board Member of the MacArthur Boulevard Business Association. In 2008, they founded AlertsMadeEasy.com as SaaS for businesses, schools, daycares, property managers, municipalities and organizations and also joined the Board of the American Red Cross. In 2009, they founded TextClubs.com as a SaaS for businesses and nonprofit organizations and became a Board Member of Farmer State Bank. In 2016, they joined National General Insurance as Director of Information Technology, where they designed, developed and implemented a custom enterprise web-based internal order management and fulfillment solution, managed Artificial Intelligence projects throughout the enterprise, and interfaced with multiple business units to scope and design custom solutions.

Mark Roberts III obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University between 1993 and 1997. Mark then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration in Business and Technology from Nova Southeastern University between 1998 and 2000.
