Jonathan Cantwell

Jonathan Cantwell is a Partner at GP Bullhound, a leading technology investment bank. Jonathan focuses on mergers & acquisitions and growth equity financing for companies in the Internet, software, and digital media industries.

Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in technology investment banking. Jonathan began their career as a CPA at Ernst & Young. Jonathan then transitioned to technology M&A at Pagemill Partners, where they were an Associate. In 2011, Jonathan became Vice President at Sagent Advisors, where they advised companies on M&A transactions. Jonathan then joined Pacific Crest Securities as Vice President of Technology Investment Banking. In 2016, Jonathan left Pacific Crest to join TextRecruit as an Advisor.

At TextRecruit, Jonathan helped the company scale its business and close multiple rounds of financing. Jonathan also played a key role in TextRecruit’s acquisition by GP Bullhound in 2020. Jonathan is now a Partner at GP Bullhound, where they continue to advise companies on growth strategies and help them raise capital.
