Matthew Fortin, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with a diverse background in fund accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Associate Fund Controller at GP Fund Solutions since June 2022, Matthew previously held roles as Senior Fund Accountant and Fund Accountant at Ultimus LeverPoint Private Fund Solutions from November 2017 to June 2022. Earlier experience includes positions as Staff Accountant at Cruden & Company, CPAs PLLC, and as an Accounting Clerk at The Gorman Group, LLC. Matthew began a career in retail at Hannaford Supermarkets, where responsibilities included roles as Customer Service Supervisor and Cashier. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Siena College and a Master of Science in Forensic Accounting and Valuation from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
