Capt.Sundar Swaminathan, DipCII

Capt. Sundar Swaminathan, DipCII has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Capt.Sundar started their career as a Master Mariner at Synergy Maritime in 2010. Later, they joined Marine Services as a Branch Manager, Marine Consultant, MR in 2011, where they served until August 2014. In 2014, Capt. Swaminathan joined Marine Consultancy as an Associate Director and Marine Consultant. Capt.Sundar then moved on to Gulf Petrochem Group in 2015, initially serving as an Assistant General Manager until June 2017. Since June 2017, they have been working as the Head of Marine Claims & Loss Prevention, Global at Gulf Petrochem Group.

Capt. Sundar Swaminathan, Dip CII, has a strong educational background in insurance and claims. Capt.Sundar obtained a Diploma in Claims from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Insurance Institute of India degree with a focus on Risk Management and engineering insurance from the Insurance Institute of India in 2014-2015. In 2012-2013, they obtained another diploma from the Insurance Institute of India, this time in Marine Insurance. Additionally, Capt. Sundar Swaminathan attended Fergusson College from 1992-1995, although the degree name and field of study are unspecified. Capt.Sundar also completed their Junior & High school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1980-1992.
