Dr. Hans Henning Thies

Dr. Hans Henning Thies is an expert in the field of electromobility and energy management, currently holding various leadership positions at GP JOULE CONNECT since May 2017, including roles in connect management, business field development, digitization, and product development for electromobility solutions. Responsibilities include strategic evaluations of technological innovations, developing product-market strategies, creating simulations for charging infrastructures, and coordinating projects focused on renewable energy integrations. Prior experience includes significant research and project management roles at Bergische Universität Wuppertal, where extensive work on reliability calculations and future grid structures was undertaken, as well as engineering positions within the E.ON group. Dr. Thies holds a Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in energy management, alongside a Diplom-Ingenieur in technological management and marketing.
