Alan Rowland

Alan Rowland is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in instrumentation and controls, along with hardware engineering and project management. Most recently, Alan served as a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer and Project Manager at GPA Engineering from May 2023 to August 2023. Prior to that, Alan held roles as a Senior Project Engineer and Senior Control Systems Engineer at SAGE Automation from September 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing large PLC and SCADA projects from inception to completion. Earlier experience includes a position as a Graduate Hardware Engineer at RLM from January 2006 to January 2008, providing technical support for RADAR networks and developing hardware products. Alan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Adelaide, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
