James R. Stahl

James R. Stahl has extensive experience in water resources engineering and business development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Kentucky Public Sectors at GPD Group since April 2017, Stahl develops engineering services and serves clients in the public sector. Previously, Stahl held the position of Kentucky Business Development Lead for AECOM and was instrumental in expanding the public sector business focusing on water resources, transportation, and environmental markets. Early career roles included Kentucky Water Resources Business Development at URS Corporation, Project Manager at FMSM Engineers, and Water Resources Engineer at Ogden Environmental and Engineering Services, with a consistent emphasis on floodplain management, hydraulic modeling, and stormwater projects. Stahl holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering specializing in Water Resources from the University of Louisville, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
