Dr Anshumen Bhagat has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Private GP at GPMedic and PrivateGPinLondon, at BMI Healthcare and at Hadleywood hospital Barnet. Dr Anshumen also served as a Principal/Partner General Practitioner at Grovelands Medical Centre and Grenoble Medical Centre for the NHS. In 2012, they were appointed as a Clinical Network Lead at Enfield Primary Care Trust and Clinical Commissioning Group Member (CCG) - Clinical Lead Mental Health at NHS Enfield CCG. In 2015, they founded GPDQ, where they served as the Chief Medical Officer and in 2017, they became a Private Investor and advisor for Credentially and Street Stream. In 2018, they were named a Pulse Power50 - UKs most influential GPs. In 2020, they became a Private Investor for Medic Bleep and in 2022, they were appointed as the Clinical Director for London Diagnostic Centre.
Dr Anshumen Bhagat obtained their MBBS from UCL Faculty of Medical Sciences in February 2002, after studying Medicine from 1995 to 2001. In February 2005, they were awarded the MRCGP from RCGP. That same year, they were also awarded the DFFP (FRSH) from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. In September 2009, they obtained their Masters Level Diploma Advanced Commissioning from the Improvement foundation and University of Teeside. In January 2013, they were awarded the Primary Care Mental Health Leadership Programme from NHS London and UCL Partners. Most recently, in June 2021, they were certified as a UKAS Chief Medical Officer from UKAS.
