Zubeda Shaikh (FCCA) has an extensive background in finance, having held various roles since 2003. Zubeda began their career as a Management Accountant at WPP, followed by a similar role at STOLT NIELSENS OG HERVIKS LEGAT in 2005. In 2006, they took on the role of Finance & IT Manager at Royal Medical Benevolent Fund, where they were responsible for producing draft statutory accounts for auditors in accordance with SORP. In 2017, they joined Hardy & Company as a Financial Accountant, where they produced statutory accounts for SMEs and handled monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients. That same year, they also became Director at Austen Young Accountants Ltd, where they were responsible for improving business performance from taking care of a businesses accounts and tracking financial performance. In 2018, they assumed the role of Finance Manager at SELDOC and Member Board of Trustees at Kitrinos Healthcare. Currently, they are Head of Finance at GPDQ and Financial Controller at SELDOC Healthcare.
Zubeda Shaikh has an extensive educational background. Zubeda obtained a Management Studies degree from Royal Holloway, University of London in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services between 1998 and 2001. In 2007, they obtained their ACCA certification from ACCA. In 2020, they obtained their FCCA certification from ACCA and in 2021, they obtained their Oxford Executive Leadership Programme certification from the University of Oxford.
