Amol Vagad has a diverse work experience in the field of mapping and localization engineering, perception and path planning algorithms for advanced driver assistance systems, autonomous vehicles software engineering, and summer internships. In 2020, they began working as a Mapping and Localization Engineer for GPR. From 2018 to 2020, they worked for Visteon Corporation as a Perception and Path Planning Algorithms for ADAS Engineer, where they designed SLAM based motion planning for Autonomous parking, proto-typed Pedestrian tracking using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF), and developed MISRA Compliant C- Code following safety critical coding standards with cross compilation for Linux x86, ARM 64 and QNX. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Autonomous Vehicles Software Engineer Intern for VSI Labs, where they developed a Level 2 Autonomous Vehicle as part of a summer project. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Summer Intern for Air India Limited, where they worked in the Avionics department and the major maintenance department of the Airbus A321, A320 and A319 models.

Amol Vagad has a diverse educational background. Amol obtained their SSC from N.G.Vartak English Medium High School in 2010. Amol then attended Annasaheb Vartak College of Arts Kedarnath Malhotra College of Commerce and E S Andrades College of Science Vasai Road Dist Thane 401 202, where they obtained their High School degree in 2012. Amol then went on to obtain their Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from various institutions, such as the University of Alberta, University of Toronto, Coursera, Microsoft, Swinburne University of Technology, and edX.
