Mike Gaughan is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public service and political consulting. As the Principal at GPSIMPACT since May 2015, Gaughan leverages expertise in strategic communication and campaign management. Previously, Gaughan served as a County Commissioner for the 1st District in Douglas County, Kansas, from April 2009 to January 2019. Additional roles include Senior Partner at Kansas Grassroots Consulting, Campaign Manager for the Steve Six Committee, and Special Assistant to Governors Kathleen Sebelius and Mark Parkinson. Gaughan's early career includes significant contributions as Executive Director and Director of Operations for the Kansas Democratic Party from 2003 to 2008. Gaughan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Kansas, earned between 1996 and 2001.
