Jack Bransfield's work experience includes a range of roles in engineering, software development, and consulting. Jack is currently working as an Engineering Manager at GPS Insight. Prior to that, they served as a Consulting Partner for Engineering and Cyber Security at Weaversoft.io, where they provided expert guidance on security best practices and compliance requirements for large corporations.

Before joining Weaversoft.io, Jack founded Bransfield Technologies Pty Ltd, a software solutions company focused on providing boutique services such as front-end/mobile development, API and DevOps engineering, cost reduction, security, and consulting.

Jack also worked at MyWallSt as an Engineering Manager and Senior Backend Engineer, where they led a team of software engineers and played a key role in designing and implementing a migration plan for transitioning to a microservices-based architecture.

Jack has also held positions at the University of Melbourne, Fred IT Group, Dell EMC, Amazon, and RPS, gaining experience in areas such as automation, bioinformatics, systems software engineering, pharmacy software, QA testing, and network engineering.

Jack Bransfield attended Munster Technological University where they studied Computer Science. Jack later pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering at the same university. Prior to their university education, Jack attended Christian Brothers College.

These include "Become an Effective Software Engineering Manager" from Educative, Inc. in January 2023, "The Way to Go" from Educative, Inc. in July 2021, "Introductory Data Analytics" from UCD Professional Academy in May 2021, "DAT256x: Essential Math for Machine Learning: Python Edition" from Microsoft in June 2020, "LFS158x: Introduction to Kubernetes" from The Linux Foundation in February 2019, "LPIC-1" from Linux Professional Institute in June 2017, "Comptia Linux +" from CompTIA in May 2017, "HLTAID001 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" from Safety Corp in March 2016, "MCSA: Windows 8" from Microsoft in May 2015, "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" from Microsoft in June 2014, "MS: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center" from Microsoft in June 2014, and "CCNA Routing and Switching" from Cisco in January 2014. Jack also obtained the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020, and the "Connectwise Automate Certified Expert" certification from ConnectWise IT in September 2017.

There are two certifications, "HLTAID002 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support" and "HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid," for which the month and year of attainment are not provided.
