Jay Brown

Jay Brown has more than 27 years of operational, corporate finance and transactional experience. Mr. Brown currently serves as CFO of GR Energy Services. Previously, he served as interim CFO and as a Financial Consultant at Dan-Loc Group, a leading energy equipment manufacturing company. He has also served as Chief Investment Officer and Director for various operating, private equity, investment banking and consulting entities. During his tenure as CIO of Equus Total Return, he served on various Boards of portfolio companies. He has been involved in more than 40 middle-market M&A, management buyout, divestiture and capital sourcing transactions with values exceeding $450 million. Mr. Brown has experience in a variety of industries, including upstream and midstream energy services, manufacturing, retail, E&P, and industrial goods and services.

Mr. Brown holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
