Alim H.

Alim H. is a Senior Data Scientist currently employed at Grab since November 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Tokopedia from July 2019 to August 2023, where Alim delivered innovative solutions such as a complementary recommendation engine projected to contribute an additional IDR 4.6 billion annually, and a cross-recommendation engine that enhanced customers' purchasing likelihood by 10.98%. Alim also developed a sequential deep model for category recommendations and designed integration pipelines for engineering teams. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Geographic Information System Intern at HARA, a blockchain-based data exchange in Indonesia, and participation in a data science training program at Tokopedia. Alim H. holds a Master’s degree in Statistics with Data Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Indonesia.
