Ben Chin

Ben Chin is an experienced director with a strong background in strategy and digital retail, currently serving as the Director of Country Strategy & Digital Retail at Grab since February 2017. In this role, Ben oversees Jaya Grocer’s Digital Business, ensuring alignment across various sectors while leveraging Grab’s ecosystem. Prior to this, Ben held multiple leadership positions within Grab, including overseeing the Outer Cities business across more than 25 cities and leading a high-impact strategy team. Ben co-founded Blugroupe Sdn Bhd and DSYR.com, contributing significantly to business management and e-commerce in Malaysia, and previously worked in social media marketing roles at Qi Group and 123RF.com. Ben holds an LLB in Law from The University of Sheffield.
