Chan Kalson

Chan Kalson is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Threat Detection Engineer at Grab since June 2021, where responsibilities include monitoring and responding to global network threats and generating intrusion detection alert criteria. Previously, Chan worked as a Threat Analyst at Fortinet, focusing on IOC analysis and threat identification within the cyber kill chain. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior Operations Executive at foodpanda, successfully reducing vendor fail rates, and an Operations Intern position involving data analysis for strategic decision support. Chan's leadership capabilities were demonstrated as Head of Technical at Youth Ministry FGAKL, managing a team and ensuring operational efficiency for events. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security from the University of Staffordshire and a Diploma in Information & Communication Technology from Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation.
