David Baser

David Baser is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and technology. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Meta since July 2024, Baser focuses on planning and building future computing infrastructure, overseeing initiatives across Meta's infrastructure portfolio. In addition to this role, Baser has been an Advisor at Grab since January 2021, contributing to the development of its Product Management organization and leading teams in Search, Personalization, Ads, and Business Platforms. Previously, Baser served as Director of Product Management at Facebook from June 2010 to January 2021, where responsibilities included leading the Privacy and Data Use team and driving initiatives related to GDPR. Baser's earlier career also includes roles as an Economist at COMPASS LEXECON and a Consultant at FTI Consulting, following a Program Manager position at the University of Southern California. Baser holds both a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Southern California.
